5 DAY MOROCCO CASABLANCA TO SAHARA TRIP

Enjoy guided and private tours with Trips Around Morocco to explore cultural city of Fes, we visit Azrou and Rissani before you reach Sahara camp. This private trip from Casablanca to desert  can be modified depends on your travel plans.

DAY 1: CASABLANCA - MEKNES - FES

Today our private travel starts by hotel pick up in Casablanca. You explore main sights in city then we visit the capital city Rabat. We continue towards Meknes via the Roman ruins in Volubilis where you enjoy guided excursions and then we continue to Fes where you’ll arrive in the evening.

DAY 2: FES TO AZROU - MIDELT - ZIZ VALLEY - MERZOUGA

Today we explore Fes with local guide in city walking short excursion.. We visit Royal Palace and medina El Bali. Today we travel to Middle Atlas mountains in Ifrane and Azrou in cedar forest, where we may see local apes. After lunch in Midelt we’ll travel to Erfoud to explore fossils , and on to Rissani, before arriving to Merzouga. From here we explore Erg Chebbi desert by organized camel ride for about 1 hour. Once we arrive to the camp we will explore desert dunes, we will have tasty dinner and we enjoy the sunset.

DAY 3: ERG CHEBBI DESERT EXCURSION AND VISIT KHAMLIA

5 day Casablanca tour continues exploring the Merzouga and its desert by 4x4 vehicle visiting the Khamlia village famous for Gnawa musicians. Then you meet Berber family living in the Sahara. You explore sand dunes in Merzouga , with optional quad or buggy ride. Today we enjoy Berber music and we spend the night in desert tents.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA TRAVEL TO TODGHA GORGES - DADES VALLEY

 After breakfast we will drive towards Todgha gorges  where we hike between rocks and then after lunch you explore Dades valley called, “the way of the 1000s kasbahs” . Overnight in local riad with dinner.

DAY 5: DADES TO ROSE VALLEY - SKOURA - AIT BENHADDOU AND END OF TRIP IN MARRAKECH

After breakfast we travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M'gouna - called, “the way of the 1000s kasbahs”. We visit city cinema of Ouarzazate and then you explore local Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. It is the largest Kasbah in Morocco , a UNESCO heritage site. Then we will cross the high Atlas mountains till we reach city of Marrakech.

NOTE : This is a private Morocco trip, thus there will be no other people in your travel. You can request that the private driver stop wherever you choose for photographs or a break along your guided tour to Sahara desert.
