DAY 1: FES - MIDELT - MERZOUGA DESERT CAMEL RIDE AND NEW YEAR CELEBRATION

We pick you up at 8 a.m. and travel to Merzouga. We pass by Ifrane, a beautiful village, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” and make a stop in Azrou, a famous Berber village in the Cedar woods to enjoy the view and see the Barbary apes. We stop in Midelt for lunch and continue towards Erfoud. During this journey you can admire the amazing landscape of the Atlas Mountains and the Ziz Valley. We arrive to the Merzouga desert late in the afternoon. There you will take a camel ride to get to the heart of the desert and also be able to admire the beautiful sunset. At night you will have a delicious New Year Berber dinner and we enjoy a drums and Berber songs. We spend the night in a nomad tent under a beautiful sky studded with stars.

DAY 2: MERZOUGA DESERT - DADES VALLEY - ARRAKECH

In the morning we watch a beautiful sunrise,we  walk over the sand dunes and admire the amazing landscape of the Sahar. After breakfast we pass Rissani, Erfoud to reach the Todgha Gorges, the highest narrowest canyon in Morocco. We visit also the Dades Valley and we will drive through Kalaat M’Gouna, the Roses Valley to Ouarzazate where we may visit the cinema studios and the cinema museum. We explore Ait Benhaddou, a famous village designated a world heritage site by the UNESCO and the setting for many Hollywood movies. We arrive in Marrakech in the evening and transfer you to the hotel.
