2 DAYS ATLAS AND SAHARA TOUR FROM MARRAKECH TO ZAGORA
Trips Around Morocco offers guided and individual tours, such as camel trekking in the Merzouga desert and staying in a desert camp. This private tour in Morocco can be modified depends on your travel plan.
DAY 1: MARRAKECH - AIT BENHADDOU - ANTI ATLAS - ZAGORA
We pick you up at 8 a.m. and drive you over the High Atlas Mountains to Zagora. We walk through various Berber communities and along the Tizi n'Tichka route. We make a few stops to take in the spectacular scenery from the mountains. We will visit Ait Benhaddou, a historic village listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the location for several Hollywood films. We'll arrive late in the afternoon in Zagora's little desert and take a camel ride to the sand dunes to watch the sunset. Dinner will be served under the stars close to a campfire in the desert camp, while you are entertained by some local drummers. We'll sleep in nomad tents in the desert for the night.
DAY 2: ZAGORA - TAMNOUGALT - DRAA VALLEY - MARRAKECH
Trips Around Morocco continues today, and you may enjoy a lovely sunrise and walk through the sand dunes in the morning. We begin our journey back to Marrakech after breakfast. We will journey through the lonely environment of the Draa Valley, stopping to appreciate the valley and the Draa River, Morocco's longest river. We'll go to the Tamnougalt Kasbah. We arrive in Marrakech in the evening and take you to your accommodation. *Note: There are short dunes in Zagora's little desert. We propose Merzouga desert trips if you want to experience a true desert experience.
NOTE : This is a private Morocco trip, thus there will be no other people in your travel. You can request that the private driver stop wherever you choose for photographs or a break along your guided tour to desert.
